EUROPE

often say that private companies should be managed by public companies, often public companies should be managed with criteria of private companies, in order to get results. I think the dissemination of information in Europe and its Fifth Freedom by those responsible should be measured just like a private company, that is, one must analyze the effort and the ROI (return on investment), if does not remain in a cluster of words with good intentions but little real impact on society. The problem is not the message, not even the media, if not broadcast, that never arrives.

DONE: at school for my children (elementary) to celebrate Europe Day passed the course were given a sheet with a crossword and 3-4 lines which meant Europe and its history, but with a terminology unintelligible to children of these ages. In contrast, the EU has audiovisual material (in Castilian and free) that explains very well and with cartoons all that means Europe, the Teacher's Corner , a teaching resource on Europe and its institutions. " For So why not come to school all my children? How can we disseminate this knowledge in schools?. spread the idea of Europe among children that tomorrow will be our doctors, chefs, lawyers, carpenters ... is essential and we are already losing a wonderful time . Our politicians can not keep leaving words of good intentions in interviews and pre-campaign and as events continue to stand by the diffusion of Europe, this is another fact.

DONE , the initiative of the public consultation citizenship have so little impact and dissemination to the public, who rarely has the participation of dozens of people at every visit (sometimes not even that). Should be of concern to those responsible for the lack of popular consultation participation. So do not think you are doing everything possible to spread the idea of Europe, or the participation in this case, at least not as you would in a private firm that analyzes investment and the success of a campaign advertising and data collection. Do not know if I'm wrong, but is still awaiting demonstrate communication with Europe and the citizen .

We have many national institutions whose mission is to spread the idea of Europe, but managed as a social and political project, not as an instrument created to get results: closer to citizens to EU institutions European. Like the laws passed in Europe, these institutions should be accompanied by an investment project and results to be obtained, the short, medium and long term (do not know if this is done, according to the results). Coordination in different areas: education, environment, health, trade, youth, immigration, tourism ... all that can be achieved by joining forces. Are grateful for our youth real programs like Erasmus, European voluntary service ... the European information page for children: Eurochavales , or initiative Youth in Motion, among others, but the knowledge of the network which is Europe must be posted and must be a priority for our politicians, their initiatives, their benefits must reach the intended recipients and to be credible we must see results. In a private company fundamental data analysis to get "benefits" of investment.

DONE: The business world is largely unknown in Europe. A great market that seems to have been built by and for big business, with little impact on what Europe can offer to small businesses. There is an interesting European initiative: The European Portal for SMEs , recovering the terminology of "Small is beautiful" or think small first. Too bad that much of information is only in English or French, making it difficult for a merchant to access it. Although I do not think that information is coming to my city traders, even to the Chamber of Commerce itself. I leave the link to the latest report SBA (Small Business Act), which reflected the impact of employment generated by SMEs in Spain: 78%, compared to 67.4 in the EU -27. From what we can clearly infer that support for SMEs should be a priority to reduce unemployment. It is significant that of all firms in Spain, 92.2% are very small (less than 10 employees), and only 0.1% are large companies, however, is that 0.1% which is benefiting from the single market created in Europe, and this should be explained by our European policy, how is it possible?. I miss the impact report (data) or incidence of SMEs in the Single Market, but will look ...

There is much to do and much to explain, so I refuse to listen to our politicians pulling balls out and explaining always the same four ideas that once learned in Europe, we must change the dialogue and giving answers solutions. I want results : at school for my children, trade in my city in my life. But for that, the first thing to roll up and participate has to be by yourself.
