Open accounts special prosecutor, order a PGR

IFAI ordered the Attorney General's Office provide disaggregated information on the budget allocated for 2011 to the Special Prosecutor for Attention to Crimes Committed Against Freedom of Expression.

The information request was submitted to the PGR by an individual in December past, and the Administrative Office of the Attorney provided only data on the total amount of the amount allocated to the special prosecutor in 2011 (636 thousand 740 pesos), but no breakdown by administrative unit, meta, program, subprogram and activity as required.

Reliance argued that it had no detailed information, providing the particular activity report 2009-2010, submitted to the Chamber of Deputies.

dissatisfied with the response, the owners filed an appeal for review before the IFAI, which recorded the activity report did not contain the information requested. The matter was referred to the presentation by Commissioner María Elena Pérez-Jaén. In

allegations, the Attorney General reiterated his answer and said the request was fulfilled in particular its terms, also said that as part of its duties was to have the budget broken down by administrative unit.

During consideration of the matter, the paper found that the activity report does not detail the Feadle required by the particular, and that the document is for fiscal years prior to the period requested.

The full statement of IFAI, adopted unanimously, is that the Attorney General to undertake a new comprehensive search of all administrative units, omitting the Directorate General Programming and Budget Organization, and provide the requested information.
